At-Home Professions Student Named Distance Education Accrediting Commission Outstanding Graduate

FORT COLLINS, CO – August 2017 – At-Home Professions Healthcare Documentation Specialist program graduate Vanessa Barry has been named a Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) Outstanding Graduate. This honor is awarded to twenty of the most successful and exemplary graduates of Distance Education Accrediting Commission-accredited schools.

Vanessa enjoyed the freedom to study at her own pace. Her academic achievements and impressive work ethic earned her this honor. Within just six months she was able to complete the course with a 95% GPA. Upon completing the course, Vanessa was able to almost immediately find a full-time position. Thanks to everything she learned in her course, she is happy to be able to provide support and expertise throughout all cycles of the medical record.

Vanessa has begun the process of becoming self-employed. She is proud to have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time and is excited about fine-tuning her skills within the realm of her new career.

At-Home Professions Student Named Distance Education Accrediting Commission Outstanding Graduate

FORT COLLINS, CO – August 30, 2016 – At-Home Professions is excited to announce that Healthcare Documentation Specialist program graduate Kathleen Deutz has been named a Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) Outstanding Graduate. This honor is awarded to twenty of the most successful and exemplary graduates of Distance Education Accrediting Commission-accredited schools.

Kathleen completed her Healthcare Documentation Specialist program within a year of enrolling, all while working a full-time job. Her commitment to successfully completing her certificate earned her the Delta Epsilon Tau Society Award during her program.

“By enrolling in the Healthcare Documentation Specialist program with At-Home Professions, I mastered the skills I needed to accept a Billing Specialist position with a local healthcare facility. I would like others to know that with hard work and determination you can accomplish your goals,” said Kathleen.

Shortly after graduating, Kathleen accepted a position as a Billing Specialist at a local healthcare facility. While utilizing the skills acquired during her At-Home Professions program, Kathleen is gaining valuable on-the-job experience. Her next goal is to take on new responsibilities such as coding and transcription.
